Whats an easy way to gain money during the summer?

My family is have financial difficulties at the moment, and I dont want to bother them with expences secondary to whats important, so I want to make my own money while i have the time. Once the begining of school starts again, ill be needing school supplies for High School, and some new clothes. Im allmost 15 years old and going to be a freshman. Im allready thinking of a mini babysitting/tutoring business, but what are some other good ideas?

Whats an easy way to gain money during the summer?
At 15 it will be difficult to find legitimate work because of child labor laws and things.

Babysitting is not a bad way to do it.

You could also try,

yard work for your neighbors.

or just start going door to door asking and letting people know that you are looking for work. Put together some business cards that have your name and phone number on them. Then go to walmart or something and buy magnetic tape and tape it to the back of the cards. Then when you are out talking to people hand them a card and tell them to stick it to their refridgerator and call you if they think of anything you could help them with.

Post an add on craigslist letting people know you are looking for work.

The key here is to be creative and market yourself until you have more work than you can handle.

Reply:Ahh, all these people that are trying to refer you to their money sites did not pay attention to the fact you're 14. I'm pretty sure all of them have age restrictions. Starting your own business is a GREAT idea. Not only will it bring in some extra money, but it is a really great experience that will help you in many ways, especially being so young. Babysitting and tutoring are good places to start, along with yard work and dog walking (/sitting), grocery shopping for elderly people (if you have someone who could drive you) etc. What else are you interested in/like doing? Maybe you could incorporate that too, so you enjoy what you're doing, along with making money.

Good luck!

Reply:well since ur only 15 i would suggest sumthin pretty small depending on where you live there are program for kids 14 and over to become soccer referees and like u have to pay 45$ for 2 classes and registration to learn about refing and then you get to pick what game you want to ref for and age kids you wanna ref for and u can make like 30 dollars per game.

if u dont want to do that you can make things and sell them

i hope that helps
Reply:If you or your fam don't have anything against working in a movie ( family ) place ofcourse;try that.
