What happens to all the money the presidential candidates raise when they fall out of the race?

The long list of presidential candidates have raised more money more quickly than ever before, but what happens to that money as they begin to fall out of the race. Does it go back to the party?

What happens to all the money the presidential candidates raise when they fall out of the race?
Generally they drop out of the race when they run out of money.
Reply:I believe they use it to pay off their bills, campaign team, etc. Then they go play golf. Lots and lots of golf.
Reply:Nope. I always said the candidates should be required by law to repay all the money given to them during a campaign. Instead they just get to pocket it.
